The inaugural issue of Hofstra’s journal of literature and art is now in print. Windmill was created in collaboration between Hofstra’s MFA in Creative Writing program and Hofstra’s undergraduate Publishing Studies program. This issue features a Q&A with renowned essayist Phillip Lopate, poems by Samson Starkweather, discussions with Gerard Puccio and Valeria Luiselli, and of course fiction and creative nonfiction from both emerging writers and established authors such as Alix Ohlin. Submissions are currently open for the Spring issue.
